The recognition distance has been significantly extended to 2 meters, which greatly improves the maximum traffic speed. While most algorithms only support +/-15° face detection angle, SpeedFace-V4L M1 doubles the detection angle when rotating the head and tilting up to +/-30°. The touchless palm authentication method with new hand tracking technique allows wide angle tolerance up to +/-60° on the roll axis and a recognition distance of 50 cm.
