The SCU serves as the digital audio memory for the Honeywell Variodyn D1 PAVA system. A connection to the Variodyn D1 can be established via Ethernet. The unit can be used to log and record messages that can be saved to a hard drive and backed up with date, time and trigger details. The system also allows for automatic temporary storage and playback of interrupted messages.
