The VX-3016F is a 16-zone integrated speaker controller in TOA’s VX-3000 series of voice evacuation systems. The device complies with the European EN54 standard for fire alarm systems. The device is equipped with audio inputs and can be directly connected to speaker outputs when used with amplifier modules. The device can also be set to broadcast a warning message with a higher priority than the normal warning level. Two emergency states can be activated at the same time (Fire area sends evacuation, neighboring area sends warning). With the network connection feature, the system can be distributed.

The device includes the following features: Digital processing function allows to adjust the sound of each input separately and each output zone, anti-feedback function helps to reduce howling in the PA system, VOX is a function that allows START/STOP through the input audio signal, ANC function allows to adjust the system sound according to the environmental noise. (ANC function can distinguish the output sound of the device and the surrounding noise. The output sound of the device is not considered noise). There is a status indicator light for error and the status of each amplifier on the integrator.

The device has 16 speaker outputs. The maximum number of amplifiers that can be attached to the VX-3016F integrator is 2. We can use these two amplifiers as 2 power amplifiers for all 16 speaker zones or use one as a backup amplifier, the other will be connected to 16 speaker zones. When both amplifiers are connected to the VX-3016F, we can use the 2-channel 1-BUS/8 type – optional speaker zone. It is possible to expand the speaker zone to be announced when connecting to another VX-3016F without the need for an amplifier module (Up to 64 speaker zones / 1 amplifier). The VX-3016F is equipped with input and output ports for backup amplifiers.
